Have you ever been in a situation of severe indecision? Hamlet reproaches himself constantly for his indecision. Think about all the times he has mentioned it as well as his behavior during the play. Is he being too hard on himself or not?
I have been in a situation of severe indecision when I was going to buy a dog and I didn't which one to choose because I liked all of them. At the end I didn't buy a dog because my mom decided we wouldn't have one. I think Hamlet is being really hard on himself because he doesn't want to be indecisive, he just wants to get done with the job and don't hesitate.

I think Hamlet is being really hard on himself because he doesn't want to be indecisive, he just wants to get done with the job and don't hesitate.
Yes, I haven't been able to decide whta I want to study in college yet, and the fact that my time is almost over (2 years is nothing)is a pressure that is continuosly over me. Maybe Hamlet is too hard in himself, but by waiting patiently, he will come across the perfect moment to cause and enjoy Claudio's downfall.
I have not bent in any situation of that magitud, all the decisions I have made were not so hard and without big consecuences. I think Hamlet is being too hard on himself, since all the decisions he is making are very diffiult, it is not easy to kill tour uncle, for example.
Yes, i like Hamlet, have also been in a situation of severe indecision, better said, i am in a situation of severe indecision. My conflict is whether to go to Canada next year or not. This for me is a critical choice becuase it has both pro's and con's. It would be a great experience but i would have to leave all friends and family behind. I think that Hamlet does have the right to feel this way and be hard on himself, because the decisions in which he doubts are very important, such as whether to kill Claudius or not.
There is always a time and place for a person to have a indisision problem. Myself I have had this experience many times but in one example of my life is that I had for example one time I was playinng cards and I didnt knew what to do to grave the deck or chose another card and it was a 3000$ bet that I could have won, so I took my decision and eventually lost at my own risk.
I have bben several times in situations of indecision but non of them have been as severe as Hamlets indecision but even though it wasnt an important thing I still constantly tought if I had made the correct decision.I think Hamlet ahs been very hard on himself but it is completely understandable
I've been in the same situation of severe indecition on my birthday. Usually i don't celebrate my birthdays at all and this year i was trying to do something different and i didn't knew what to do. After all i ended doing nothing special.
I´m a very indesisive person. i have always been like that i dont know what i want. yes I´ve been in many situations were i just dont know what to do where to go what to choose. yes i think Hamlet is being hard on himself because thiis,his situation is really important. lucia
I have experienced the feeling of indecision and i agree that it is a difficult one to be in. However, i do think that hamlet is being a bit to hard on himself because in situations like those its a lose-lose scenario, regardless of the choice you make in the end.
i've have had many times on idecicion in my life when i simply can't take a stand. Last year i was planing on going to study abroad to the US but my indecicion mas so bad that i couldn't stabilize myself. One day was a yes another I said no, i couldn't decide for over a month and it was really intriguing since it keept hunting me a lot. At the end i didn't got accepted because i knew that if i didn't put that much effort into school it will be a 50/50 chance and i tied to make it that way.

Once, I went to a bar with my friends and i was driving, when we got there everyone was drinking, they offered me a drink but i said no because i promised my parents not to drink while having the car, so they started pushing me over, persuading me to drink. They stated to convice me and i started to doubt if i should have a drink or not. Finally i decided not to drink, and drive safe. Hamlet is being a bit hard on himself but just with him but with Ophelia and Gertrude also, but i understand him because his facing a really harsh time of his life
