Even though the idea of seeing and believing in a ghost may seem absurd, most people during Shakespeare’s time did believe in them. For us, it’s like the idea of a UFO. Do you believe in the supernatural? Have you or anyone you have known ever seen or claimed to have witnessed some kind of supernatural being? Explain the circumstances surrounding it.

I personally have never seen any type or ghost or anything supernatural. But, i have had friends that have supposedly heard a ghost. Their story is that my friend Gabby (who lived in Virginia) had a friend over and they were about to go to bed and where in the kitchen. Then they heard someone whistling, at first they thought it was the wind but it was whistling a tune. They knew it wasn't Gabby's parents because they had been asleep for a few hours, so what could it have been? Because of this story, and a few others I do believe in the supernatural. Not so much as haunting, scary creatures, but as a supernatural presence that has come back to either watch their loved ones live or finish something they couldn't when they were alive. As for aliens, i believe that the universe is far too big for us to selfishly think we're the only ones here. For all we know there could be other beings just like us, but that live in another galaxy. We never know.

THROUGHOUT MY LIFE I have always though obout it but it has never occured to me. Still mY BELIEF ON THE SUPERNATURAL IS STRONG AND i DO BELIEVE in such thing. Many people have sweared have seen U.F.O s which is really intersiting. One time when I lived in Mexico city a U.F.O was seen in a building close top my home. It became so impacting that it was even published in a newspaper and there was a video allot of people did actually see it. Another wierd event was when my new maid sed she saw my grandma and described her(she though she was still alive until I told her the real truth. Many things have occured in the little house on my backyard Carlos Perez Pelayo and Chriss amaya fell through the same expirience.

I have never experienced something supernatural (thanks god) but I do beleive in ghosts. I have heard many stories from relatives that have experienced this terrific things. Mexican leyends and progarms where they show pictures of ghosts and interview people who had contact with death people, pushed me to beleive in these kind of things. For me, a ghost is someone´s spirit that is stucked in the worls and need to finish or tell someone about sometyhing. When I hear these things, I can´t sleep, imagine how it would be if I experience something like this!

Well, Supernatural events are things you could talk about for hours, and never come up to a conclusion. I do not believe in such a thing like a "ghost" as disney movies have told us they really are. I do believe that there are malignant vibres, or energy, which can make you percive certain feelings. I also believe that not all the people have the capability to get in contact with such energy, since you need certain abilities in order to have contact with it. And no, im not really scared of "ghosts" maybe because ive never seen one :D. I know a person who can communicate with these kinds of energy, but he is not afraid of it, and he only does it when he is supposed to, not for fun. Once again, it is and endless disscusion, but anyways that´s what I think:)

supernatural stuff is something that can give you creeps in lonely nights. Even though i don't believe in them the question of, what if? can hunt you at dark lone places. I have never witnesed anything and i don't expect to any time soon but no one can never be sure of anything in this life but that we are going to die someday. off course i know people who have believed to have hd interaction with this such "spirits" or "ghosts" or whatever but i don't believe it, for me it's all in their heads. I even have on friend that claims that she interacts with her like some sort type of ghost wisperer but for me she is just a jennifer love-hewit wanabe. and when we are talking about UFO's people dont understand that UFO's are Unidentified flying objects, that doesnt mean that they are ghost or anything crazy they are only Objects that fly and that are just unidetified thats all...

Hi you everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite difficult for some people to believe in supernatural beings but i certainly think they existe because i have witnessed it before. Once a good friend of mine came to school a bit shocked because the night before a bright and clear image of the virgin appeared on his backyard wall. He had evidence and took pictures of it. Maybe the virgin is not a supernatural being but it is quite surprising.

The paranormal is something beyond scientific reason that can make ones mind really think. Yes, i do believe in these type of events, i believe that there are things in our world that can't be solved with simple reasoning. Even though i havent beeb subject to supernatural events, i have friends and family members who have claimed to have seen both spirits and UFO's. My grandfather told me various stories of encounters that he has had with the supernatural, mainly when living in an ancient colonial house. He claimed to have seen his grandmother in a rocking chair even though she had died years ago. Another anecdote was told by a friend in which he said to have seen a very bright light appear in the night near his house and immediately disappear. So yes, in a way i do believe, but i don't think that these experiences are anything similar to the fake horror movies.

ReplyDeleteThree years ago I saw a little girl in my kitchen; she stared at me like a minute and then she turn back and walk away. I really don’t care if someone believes me or not but I must say that I wasn’t the only one who saw her. I prefer to think it wasn’t real but seeing her for a minute was quite long for it to be my imagination. That wasn’t the only creepy situation that I’ve experienced but that was the only time that I actually saw a ghost. I’m glad I haven’t seen her since. Most people don’t believe in ghost because not everyone can see them, just the people that have a “third eye”. I prefer not to believe in the supernatural because that way I don’t see anything and nothing happens to me but regardless of that I know that all those things exist.

I try to not think about ghosts because if i start to believe in them i´ll be afraid every night for the rest of my life. I don´t recall seing anything supernatural (which makes me very happy) but im sure that there must be things surrounding us that are beyond our human comprehention. Even though I do not believe in the actual stereotipical ghost, like the one in hamlet, i do believe that death is not the end and that when someone dies they can still see us and hear us from where they are. its also hard to ignore my friends when they tell me that they have seen such supernatural events. one of my friend's older sister once told me that she was washing her hands in a bathroom and saw through the mirror the ghost of a little boy run behind her. She is 22 and certainly not a liar, so her story eventhoug hard to believe is based on the truth...

ReplyDeleteI do believe in the supernatural, like ghosts and UFO's but I have never seen one of them. I have a friend that has seen ghosts, evil spirits and UFO's but I don't know if he's telling the truth because he is kind of screwed up in the head. He says tha a figure of an old man dressed up in a black suit appeared in his room once and when he turned on the lights, the ghost just transformed into vapor and vanished. I actually bealive in ghosts because of the shows about the supernatural in Discovery Channel. There's not a single lie in Discovery Channel so ghosts and UFO's exist.
I do believe in the supernatural. Many people in my family have witnessed these phenomenons. From what they tell me, I choose to believe in ghosts and what not. I think that it is something that we could never understand.

I do not personally believe in the supernatural, but I do think the idea of life in other planets as something really possible. I do understand why people in Shakespeare’s time would believe in ghosts. Even though I dont believe in ghosts I have known someone who claimed to have seen them. That person was Edith a maid I had about 3 years ago she used to tell me stories about how she had seen a man in her house in her town, she told us that they bought their house to a family and she told me that the man she had seen was the previous owner of the house that had died their 2 years before they bought the house. I dont really believe the story but she did claim to have seen ghosts.

Supernatural. It just a word. One we use when we find something we don't understand or cannot be explained. I don't think the supernatural is an environment that exists. But I do believe there are many things that are beyond our understanding. Happenings that can't be explained because there is no explanation. It simply happens. I happen to have one supernatural experience. About 6 years ago, I used to live in the city of Leon, Gto. The house was very big, about 12,000m2 of construction. I always felt there was a presence in that house. Something that I couldn't explain, but nevertheless I felt it. Like if someone were trying to warn me or watching me. I felt like this for 3 years. Suddenly, one night, I could hear something beyond my sleep, I woke up and I saw, outside my room, on the edge of the window a black cat. With eyes yellow, glowing , as if it could see beyond my body. I stood there, watching it, without moving, and it suddenly dissapeared, in the blink of an eye. Strangely enough, I could still hear it hissing.
ReplyDeleteNext morning I learned that my mother had found strange marks under some old logs. Made with coal and in a strange language. She erased them and I never felt watched again...at least not during the day.
